Les projets émanent de neuf jeunes équipes d'architectes : Atelier Bow-Wow, Atelier Provisoire, Avignon-Clouet Architectes, Gricha Bourbouze & Cécile Graindorge, EM2N, La Fantastic Agence, Raphaëlle Hondelatte & Mathieu Laporte, Cédric Petitdidier & Vincent Prioux, Rousselle & Laisné Architectes. Chacune d'elle était chargée de la réalisation de vingt logements, répartis sur une bande de terrain de 600 m de long et 12 m de large récupérée sur la voirie existante.

Afin d'obtenir des typologies de logements inventives, au sein d'un environnement de qualité, Paris habitat-OPH a mis en place un atelier de travail collectif. Le maître d'ouvrage a demandé à l'agence Périphériques Architectes de l'animer, reflétant ainsi une manière de concevoir la ville « autrement », sans recours à une charte coordinatrice. S'expriment alors toute la diversité des bâtiments au travers de dialogues architecturaux entre les façades des immeubles, les espaces extérieurs, les cages d'escaliers communes…

La Ville de Paris, la Semavip et le groupement TVK (Trévelo & Viger-Kolher architectes urbanistes) et MG-AU (Michel Guthmann architecte mandataire) à la tête du projet urbain, ont également participé à ce workshop. La construction des 180 unités d'habitation de la rue Rebière est intervenue entre 2008 et 2009. Paris habitat-OPH est à l’initiative de 140 logements sociaux, alors que Nexity Seeri s'occupe de 40 logements en accession.

The projects originated from 9 young teams of architects: Atelier Bow-Wow, Atelier Provisoire, Avignon-Clouet Architectes, Gricha Bourbouze & Cécile Graindorge, EM2N, La Fantastic Agence, Raphaëlle Hondelatte & Mathieu Laporte, Cédric Petitdidier & Vincent Prioux, Rousselle & Laisné Architectes. Each one had to realize 20 housings, spread on a 600m by 12m stripe along the street.

To implement a variety of housing typologies in a qualitative environment, the Paris office for public housing (Paris Habitat OPH) set up a collective workshop, ran by Périphériques Architectes. The contractor thus emphasized the need to conceive the city in a different way, without any coordinated guidelines, and eventually producing an ever-changing architectural dialogue between the façades, courtyards, common staircases, etc.

The City of Paris, SEMAVIP, TVK (Trévelo & Viger-Kohler Architectes urbanistes) and MG-AU (Michel Guthmann Architecte, the team representative) also participated in this workshop. Construction of the 180 housing units in rue Rebière took place from 2008 to 2009, Paris Habitat OPH being responsible of 140 units, with Nexity Seeri building the forty others.
